The Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Support Group was inaugurated in the latter part of the 1980s specifically to provide information and advice and to give support to sufferers, their families and their friends.

The Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Group meets bimonthly on the second Tuesday. Please see events page of list of meetings for 2010.

We are currently recruiting for Sickle Cell Champions aged 16 and above. A one day training course will run at the end of August beginning of September. Please contact the office if you are interested in attending.
